Terms of Use
By using Swipedle you agree to these terms. Swipedle is run by Swipedle. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
Using the game
- Swipedle is for personal, non-commercial play.
- Please play fairly. Do not use bots, scripts or other automated means to play, to collect puzzles or answers, or to overload the service. Do not try to break, probe or get around its protections.
- You may share your results (for example the text the game copies for you) with friends.
- We may change, pause or remove puzzles, features or the whole game at any time.
Purchases
When purchases launch, some content (Endless, the Archive and themed packs) will be sold as one-time payments. These terms will then apply:
- A purchase gives you access to what was offered under that purchase, for as long as Swipedle is available. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and it does not renew.
- The purchase unlocks Endless, the Archive and the themed packs that exist when you buy. Words we add to Endless and puzzles we add to those packs later are included at no extra cost. Entirely new themed packs may be sold separately unless we say otherwise.
- Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and taxes may be added where required.
- Refunds: if you are not happy with your purchase, write to support@swipedle.com within 14 days of buying and we will refund it in full, no questions asked.
- If you change device or clear your browser, you can restore a purchase using the email you paid with.
Our content and yours
The game, its design, code, puzzles and word lists belong to Swipedle. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to play it. You may not copy, resell, scrape or republish the puzzles or word lists. See the Copyright page for third-party names used in themed packs.
No guarantees
The game is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We try to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every puzzle word or dictionary entry is perfect. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
Ending access
We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms, for example by cheating at scale or abusing the service.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to play after that means you accept the update. Questions: support@swipedle.com.
